Sunflower Lecithin

Sunflower lecithin is perfectly suitable for the use in chocolate, bread, margarine, instant products, biscuits and many other food products. The fields of application in the Food – and Health Food industry are diverse: sunflower lecithin can be used as a natural emulsifying agent, wetting agent, stabilizer, separating agent, antioxidant and dispersing agent.

Due to the fact that sunflower and soy lecithin differ only slightly in their chemical and physical composition, soy lecithin can be replaced by sunflower lecithin. Sunflower lecithin is a great alternative to soy as it is hypoallergenic, sustainable and well recognized and accepted by consumers. Worldwide no genetically modified sunflower seeds have been grown.
