Soya Lecithin

Soy lecithin is the most commonly used emulsifier in the food sector. It is a surface active additive with emulsifying and dispersing properties. It can also be used as viscosity modifier, mixing facilitator, wetting agent, crystallization control agent, releasing agent, separation agent, anti-dust agent and stabilizer.

Besides the technological functions of lecithin, it has several health properties. Phospholipids are one of the essential substances in a living organism as it is one of the main building blocks of a cell membrane.

For many years soy lecithin has been successfully applied in the food production, but it is also applied in animal feed, pharmaceutical, cosmetics as well as in many industrial applications.

Fluid Soy lecithin

The functions and application areas of fluid lecithin are manifold, as emulsifier it reduces the surface tension between polar and apolar fluids, as dispersing agent it stabilizes oil/water and water/oil emulsions. It improves homogenization of blends of different ingredients when used as mixing facilitator.
